Handling Failed Email Addresses with Contactulator
An inevitable consequence of a long standing contact database is that domains will eventually disappear. Some ISPs will give you a failure message when the domain is no longer reachable or is malformed (that is, you typed it wrong).
If your ISP does this, Contactulator will collect up all the failures encountered during a bulk email job and, when the job finishes, will present you with a list of failed contacts. By double clicking the failed contact, it will jump directly to that record in the database, allowing you to correct the error in whatever manner you decide is appropriate.
